Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey is a big church in London. It is also called the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster. The church is not mixed up with the Roman Catholic Westminster Cathedral.

There are fraues from the four catholic virtues in the portal

      - the absolute truth

      - fairness

      - lovingness

      - peace.

The tomb of the unknown Warrior is in the central nave. The chapel “Eduard the Confessor” is behind the High Altar.

“King Edwards Chair” is in the middle. There are many tombs and graves of the African scientist David Livingstone, the poet Ben Jonson, the Prime Minister Bonar Law and Chamberlain.

There is also a historical monument of the poet Shakespeare. It is to mention that there are also a lot of tombs.

The organ was build by the organ builder company Harrison + Harrison in 1937.
